Official White iPhone 4, Vodafone UK

Tuesday, July 12, 2011 mobi presse

Engadget reports that it has received photos from a reader who claims to have purchased a white iPhone 4 through Vodafone in the UK today. Note the model number MC604B/A. It’s different from the MC603B/A code that’s on Engadget’s in-house black iPhone 4, also purchased in the UK. With one digit of difference (a “4′ instead of a “3′), it’s plausible that the variation is due to the color option. The white edition is virtually identical to the black from last year. Despite this, Apple’s insistence that it would still have the color in stores even after nearly a year of delays.

HTC Knight: New Pictures Revealed

mobi presse

HTCPedia Shop recently came into possession of some photos of the HTC Knight.  The HTC Knight is the codename for the HTC Evo Shift 4G. This smartphone is just the third device to use Sprint 4G, the other two being Samsung Epic 4G and HTC Evo 4G. The phone itself, though, actually looks very slick. Clearly, design points were taken from the EVO 4G. The Evo Shift 4G aka Knight will be smaller than the HTC Evo 4G. However, the Knight does have a bigger battery, a sliding Qwerty keyboard which the original Evo 4G doesn’t.

However, the new Knight Evo phone lacks a camera on the front. Moreover, the device has a 3.7-inch WVGA display with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels (instead of 4.3 inches is HTC EVO 4G), 4G WiMAX, a camera with single LED flash, and Sense UI. Like its forbear, the HTC Knight is going to run android for its programming. This free software is used by Motorola, LG, Samsung and others for their smartphones and tablets. For this smartphone, it will come in either the 2.2 or the 2.3 version.
This smartphone is destined to be seen in January of 2011 at CES. SAdly, no prices are announced.

Windows Phone 7: The Little Engine that Could (Children game)

children app
The Little Engine that Could is a children’s story that appeared in the United States of America. The book is used to teach children the value of optimism and hard work. Some critics would contend that the book is a metaphor for the American dream. In the tale, a long train must be pulled over a high mountain. Various larger engines, treated anthropomorphically, are asked to pull the train; for various reasons they refuse. The request is sent to a small engine, who agrees to try. The engine succeeds in pulling the train over the mountain while repeating its motto: “I-think-I-can”.
