Official White iPhone 4, Vodafone UK

Engadget reports that it has received photos from a reader who claims to have purchased a white iPhone 4 through Vodafone in the UK today. Note the model number MC604B/A. It’s different from the MC603B/A code that’s on Engadget’s in-house black iPhone 4, also purchased in the UK. With one digit of difference (a “4′ instead of a “3′), it’s plausible that the variation is due to the color option. The white edition is virtually identical to the black from last year. Despite this, Apple’s insistence that it would still have the color in stores even after nearly a year of delays.


The iPhone 4 is the thinnest smartphone ever with all-new design, FaceTime video calling, Apple’s stunning new Retina display, 5 megapixel camera and HD video recording. From the photo is seen the proximity sensor looks different. Instead of a bunch of holes punched tightly together, Apple has decided to opt for the more elegant cut out slot.
